Game 2



Notes
This will be one of the best games in the league this year. Braden Looper and Chuck James were caught in a pitching duel. 0 runs were given up in regulation, and the first game ever went to extras. Looper gave up a double and single, but got out of the threat with 0 runs on the board. Larry Bigbie got a single off of James to reach his limit of 7 hits, then the M's brought in Dewon Brazelton. Doug Mientkiewicz hits a home run as the first batter faced this season for Brazelton. Virginia Celebrates their walk off.

This game opened with a bang. In the bottom of the first, Austin homered 3 times. Marcus Giles hit a home run to start the second inning. In the bottom of the third Khalil Greene walked, then Rocco Baldelli hit a moon shot. That was it for Doug Waechter, bringing in Eric Gagne for the first time this season. He got all 5 batters out he faced, which was not enough.
