Notes
After being 1-3 on the season after game one, Portland was looking to pull back to .500. It looked bad at first when Eric Byrnes tripled to score Adam Everett, then MVP candidate Doug Mientkiewicz Doubled in Toby Hall to bring the score to 3-0 in the top of the first. Then, in the bottom of the first, Jermaine Dye hits a home run. Bases get loaded with 3 singles, then a walk brings home Sean Burroughs. Juan Encarnacion, one of the best players in the league, hits a Grand Slam, to bring it to 6-3 Portland. No runs were scored in the remainder of the game.

Shawn Chacon, trying to turn his season around, found himself up against a dangerous Roughnecks offense. Both teams scored 2 runs in the first, then in the second Carlos Delgado doubled home two runs. In the 4th, Orlando up 4 runs, Shawn Chacon headed out to the mound to pitch one more inning. 3 of the first 4 batters got on, then Sean Casey belted a home run out. That tied up the game. Orlando fought off the Roughnecks with Delgado doubling home another run in the top of the inning to win.
